专家简介:夏超,男,厦门大学数学科学学院教授。 主要研究对象是微分几何(包括Riemann-Finsler几何,子流形几何,共形几何等)中出现的椭圆及抛物型偏微分方程。通过对此类偏微分方程的解的存在性惟一性或收敛性的研究,去解释相应的几何问题以及寻求一些有趣的几何应用。
报告摘要:In this talk, we propose a partially overdetermined mixed boundary value problem of Serrin type in a half ball. We prove that a domain in which this partially overdetermined problem admits a solution if and only if the domain is a spherical cap intersecting the hemi-sphere orthogonally. As an application, we show a stationary point for a well-defined partially torsional rigidity under a volume constraint must be a spherical cap. An isoperimetric problem for this partially torsional rigidity is left open. This is a joint work with Jinyu Guo at Xiamen.
